This is not bad at all. I would say its cropped to close. Its not a bad thing but this kinda cropping is more for a keyframe for a movie, tv show or cinematic. Also if it were one of those it should be more 16/9.
1-Design: Just because we are in the entertainment industry, i would have added a twist to this. It would have actually been very original. Because i have never seen this setting with a twist like fantasy, or steampunk, or some sort of tech. Also just so you work your design skills, instead of just doing a historical setting. 2-Nice effort on making an action scene/pose ! Still your anatomy needs more training. 3-COuld have been cool to see more of this background that is different from the usual stuff we see as well. So a larger frame with more space in front and behind her to show the whole boat, would be great. 4-Watch out for that braid that creates that loop and imitates the arms a bit creating a weird symmetry.
