A lot of potential cool things here, but again as with your classmates, your foundation skills need more work.
1-Your sketch has no values and its way too rough. I saw this in most of the homework. So when this happens, you are basically sabotaging your final image. EVerthing is so unclear, that you are setting up yourself to fail. You have to solve so many things that were unsolved in the sketch phase.... 2-The character design feels more interesting in the sketch. 3-Same for the bird placements and even the hands feel stronger in shape and dynamism in the sketch. 4-Anatomy....needs so much work. The placement of your character is full front. Next time, tilt the camera and the angle of view. 5-The design of branches, character, costume, birds needs a lot more work 6-There is basically no BG, so no depth 7-SHould be more zoomed in, or the character larger 8-The main areas are lacking power, in contrast and saturation 9-FX needs more love and design and overall you need to push this as everyone esle.
Need to practice: -FOundations, drawing, color, painting, values -Anatomy -Life studies -Parctice having cleaner sketches and practice value studies
