Week 8 - Sally
First Skribbles
I´ll try some combos of those sketches tomorrow. I think 1,2,7 and 8 have potential. I´ll do a combo of 7 and 8 because the two poses of the two great owl like birds could work really great together.
Refs for wings, feet/claws, light on feathers, translucens, eyes and background (will set up my own light since it will be easier to fit it to my needs)
Refs for some face expressions and in flight maneuvers

Sally Week 5 - Refs and Sketches
Hi Fred,
I've decided to do my own project with the title All The Kings Treasures. I ran into a lot of problems doing the first round of digital sketches because there are a lot of different elements to place. So I decided to go back on paper and answer some of them first as well as do a ref collection.

Sally Gottschalk - Week 4 - Sketches
Hi Fred, so here are two sketches for my forgotten maiden. She is a undead lady that was forgotten when the mansion was abandoned. Now she is wandering through the dark halls with her cursed lamp.
The first one is a bit more calm and easier to read because every element has it's own place in the image while she is passing by the viewer giving them a quick glance. That way you can go from the lamp to her other hand to her head and back to the lamp.
The second one has the important elements closer together and she is turning into the viewer like she saw you, making it more dramatic but also a bit harder to read I find. (the chains from he lamp to her right hand run in front of her... I overpainted the sketch lines and just noticed. sry for that...)
Let me know what you think.

Week 3 - Sally
in class corrections
This one is based on the concept for Thierry's class. I concepted the sketch for his with the intention of turning it into a illustration. The working title/ name of the movie is Mists.
