Week 2 - Rajdeep WIP Sketches

Its more of a desert-rocky landscape behind. And the vehicle/look is majorly inspired by Mad max. Kind of post-apocalyptic. But I am still trying to figure out ways to integrate the driver and the car with common design elements.

  1. Not bad ! Ok so, comments:

1-The first two sketches are not very good, i think the presentation is not helping you. Avoid at all costs fat lines like that. Thats like from 15 years ago. Line weight is acceptable but it has to be well placed. And nowadays thin lines will always look better. Thats why your last sketch is nicer. I dont care if Scott Robertson uses fat lines. Do yourself a favor and avoid them.
2-The first image, the car is tilted so that it's front is up. But it feels off, like the car will go backwards. Tild the front down. As if the car is advancing. Make sure to always give more space in front of your subjects that behind. This comment if for the first and second sketches.
3-The 2nd is ok, nice pose and all, but the angle is a tough one, and your car looks flat and squashed on the floor. Her leg should come out of the shape of the car as well and not end where the car ends.
4-Third sketch, the girl is too off scale. She needs to be smaller or closer to the camera to justify the scale. Also they are very separated almost each on it's onwn side of the picture. So the girl should be around the third of the image, so a bit more to the left.
5-Make sure the BG is cool. Simple but cool.
