1-Too dark, low visibility. All values are more or less the same so no contrast. 2-Feels like you created these by cutting and pasting existing movie images. Thats a no no. Even Craig Mullins got totally destroyed when people found out he did that. Avoid at all costs. You can color pick if you want from a screenshot or photo, but avoid taking a piece from an existing product. You can have them for color, light, posing and drawing refs but no cutting and pasting movie screenshots.
So make sure you redo these either by drawing them and painting them yourself or by fiding pictures that do not come from movies.
I was planning to paintover until there are no photos left and add/change stuff on the way but keeping the general composition I have here. Would that be okay?
Its up to you but if that ever happens and someone online discovers it...it will be like a witch hunt. You 'll be discredited and people will humiliate you. The problem is not seeing the photos, the problem is seeing the movies screenshots here. AGain ist your art and your studies and your future career. I will never impose something, you manage yourself and your art. But i have warned you regarding what could happen if someone finds out...
Not bad.
