Your portfolio that you showed me last week is ten times better than this man.
Also with all the insane screengrabs of Last Guardian, that you could have used as refs.....for composition, light, colors and all.....i feel you did not spend enough time preparing this.
Compo: Too simple, for such an epic subject. Your point of view is almost full front, rendering the epic scale of the animal and ruins, very weak.
Perspective: in themes like these the angles of view are always pushed, also depth, for scale and epicness. Here its super weak again. No depth. Is that litle wall there in the foreground? Why is the second column larger or asl large as the first one if its farther away ?
Light: Its all over the place. It does seem to respect the shapes of the objects it is hitting. Why is are the ruins on the grass, on the left, lit....and the boy is not? Are they focus points ?
The drawing of the boy? He is the hero....why isnt he epic as hell?
The ruins....man...again....last guardian is out there. You need to kill it here.
The creature is okish. Maybe presented better, in a cooler depiction and presentation of this same idea, it could be awesome.
Next time, i rather see 3 GREAT sketches in B&W, than a rushed attempt at a final pic.
Another very ambitious image....

For the light, i meant it does NOT feel like it is respecting the shape of the objects.
